1. Will anyone know what I share with my In-balance practitioner?
Only in an emergency situation, will your information be shared.
2. How is the work done?
Balancing sessions start with a short conversation and are done clothed on a bodywork table. You will experience benefits from:
- Polarity therapy
- Cranial sacral work
- Massage
- Reflexology
- Sound healing
3. Will I have to take off my clothes?
No. You can remain dressed.
4. What other programs does In Balance offer?
Other programs are in the works. In-Balance West would will eventually include nutrition and ergonomic specialists and hold presentations.
5. What can I expect as a result of the sessions?
Results may include:
- Significant stress reduction
- Increased energy with mental clarity to get through the work day
- Greater productivity
- Enhanced problem solving
Please note: Immediate results are often felt, although many are accumulative and may take several sessions.
6. How does this differ from on-site chair massage?
The In Balance program is different from chair massage in the following ways:
- The intention is not only for an individual but for the the group as a whole.
- There's a group meeting for the team before, at the half way point and the end of the program
to encourage team communication and awareness.
- Sessions are limited to 6-8 times per section.
- The practitioner checks in with the participant at the beginning of every session.
- The intention is to foster team collaboration.
7. What does a company need to provide for an In Balance program?
Having the In Balance program at your company requires:
- An 8 week commitment from 6-12 employees from each team or group for one 1/2 hour session per week.
- A Private room in which to hold the weekly sessions.
- A lead person from each team who will directly communicate with Miriam, schedule sessions, replace absentee participants and make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Short forms that must be filled out before the group introduction.
- People must show up on time for their 1/2 hour sessions.
8. What does In Balance provide at no extra charge?
The In Balance program includes the following features as no extra charge to the company:
- A mandatory group introduction meeting
- An interim group check in half way through the program
- A closing group meeting
9. How much does the In Balance program cost?
The cost varies depending on the size of the company.
- 6 team participants for 8 weeks - $3,600 ($75 per 1/2 hour session)
- 12 team participants for 8 weeks - $7,200
10. Can the In Balance wellness program be extended?
Yes. Companies have the option of extending their programs in one of two ways:
- The 8 week process may be renewed or rotated to another team.
- Teams have the option of a maintenance program of sessions one or two times per month.
